Brand identity for Mark Wells Architecture firm (fictional). Mark Well is an architect of 20 years who has decided to start his own architecture firm with a ‘no frills’ vision of pin-point accuracy, intuitive innovation, first class engineering and industry defining design.
Wells is known for his forward thinking, visually compelling command of form and material. Therefore, his brand identity reflects his esoteric designs. The typeface, Neue Hass Grotesk, is functional and timeless, qualities that all buildings should have. However, the tight leading and small margins create a tension between the edges of the design and the typography, giving the identity more character. These put together represent Mark’s acknowledgment of the sensible, simplistic and functional qualities of architecture and design but also represents his passion for pushing the boundaries of the industry to new and exciting places.
